world tour log
We went on our first world trip between November 2002 and March 2003. We flew first to Bangkok, planning to travel overland to Chiang Mai and then south through Thailand and Malaysia to Singapore, visiting friends in Kuala Lumpur. From there we flew to Perth, Australia for five days before we arrived in New Zealand at Christchurch. Ten weeks later we left for a tall ship sailing safari in Fiji before heading onto Canada and relatives on Vancouver Island. Finally, we returned from Vancouver to Heathrow.

I had planned to write up this trip with lots of tips and links for fellow travellers, BUT that all takes time and as a quick fix I am going to publish the e-mails that we sent home for family and friends. Click on any of the links for a brief insight into our trip.
